Checkout for Wix

Integrate Checkout with your Wix store.

Before integrating Zonos Checkout with your site, please make sure you are familiar with how it works:

  • International shoppers will be redirected to our Checkout page using Hello's geolocation. However, the Zonos Hello flag will be hidden due to Wix's iframe limitations.
  • Within our Checkout, your customers will benefit from localized payments, currency conversion, item restrictions, and more.
  • International payment processing will be powered by Zonos, which includes our fraud protection.
  • Orders will appear in both Dashboard and Wix interfaces.
  • Order status and tracking numbers will sync from Dashboard to Wix, but not from Wix to Dashboard.
  • All domestic shoppers will continue to use your native Wix checkout. The native Wix checkout will not redirect to Zonos Checkout.

Integrate

Follow these steps to integrate Checkout with your Wix store.

1

Contact a Sales Representative

Please reach out to us for information on how to get started. Once we get an agreement, you can begin the installation process.

2

Create a Zonos account

  1. Register for a Dashboard account.
  2. After registering, complete your account setup.
3

Install the Checkout block

Your Project Manager will handle the installation for you during the onboarding process. The block cannot be installed on your own. To allow Zonos to install on your behalf, please set up admin access for Zonos to makes changes to your Wix site.

4

Add product information

Product weight can be stored in either Wix or Catalog (if entered in both, the weight from Catalog will be used). Wix does not store product information like HS codes, country of origin, and dimensions natively. If this information varies by product or if dimensional weight is a concern, store it in Catalog.

5

Styling

Optional—Zonos will install two international cart pages (one cart page for mobile and one for desktop) and a confirmation page on your site.

  • International cart pages: The background of the international cart page will default to white. To update the background color to match your brand, go to Edit sitePages and menuStore pagesCart page. Scroll down until you see the two international checkout cart pages and adjust as desired. Please do not delete any elements on these pages without consulting with your Zonos Project Manager.
  • International confirmation page: To edit the default order confirmation page that will be shown to international shoppers, go to Edit sitePages and menuSite MenuCheckout complete and update as desired.
