Greet international shoppers

Zonos Hello shows a greeting message for international visitors on your website. This message is dynamic and changes based on location, language, and features your store has. Greeting your international shoppers can help reduce friction and create a localized experience by:

• Showing international shoppers that you ship to their country.
• Offering custom messages depending on country or region.
• Letting international shoppers know they can shop in their own currency.
• Giving international shoppers an idea of how much they can spend before hitting de minimis thresholds.

Hello works on mobile and desktop and is designed to fit easily with your brand's theme and offer your shoppers a performant and out-of-the-way experience.

International shopper information 

• Welcome message: Greet international shoppers with a friendly, translated message that shows you ship to their country.
• Duty de minimis information: Show international shoppers how much they can spend before hitting duty thresholds.
• Tax de minimis information: Show international shoppers how much they can spend before hitting tax thresholds.
• Low value tax information (GST, VAT, etc.): Show international shoppers how much they can spend before hitting low-value tax thresholds.
• Low value orders (UK): If low-value orders are turned off to the UK due to GST rules, show a message to the shopper letting them know.

Auto-open behavior 

By default, Hello will not automatically open on page load. If you would prefer this behavior, you can use the following code snippet on page load to open Hello automatically.

Domestic visitor behavior 

Hello is designed to greet international shoppers, so it will not show up for your domestic visitors. To control which countries are considered domestic, add and remove countries from your shipping zones in Dashboard.
