Collect tax IDs

Collect shopper tax IDs

Reduce risk of blocked packages with tax ID collection.

Certain countries require a tax ID from the importer to be present on shipping labels to avoid customs delays or blocked packages. Zonos Checkout supports collecting tax IDs from shoppers when required, and will automatically include the tax ID on shipping labels when provided.

  • South Korea (PCCC)

Collecting a EORI number for B2B shipments to Europe

If a shopper enters a name into the company field in Checkout and the shopper has selected the EU, UK, Switzerland, or Norway as their shipping destination, a EORI number field will be required in the address form for the shopper to complete checkout.

The EORI number is a unique identifier for businesses in the EU, UK, Switzerland, or Norway. It is used to track shipments and ensure they are compliant with customs regulations.
