1

Configure shipping

Inclusive pricing can only be set up for countries where shipping is enabled. Before configuring inclusive pricing, make sure to:

  • Set up your shipping zones in Dashboard.
  • Enable shipping services compatible with our guarantee, noting that shipping rates that are hard to verify, such as custom rate sheets, are excluded.
  • Create distinct shipping zones to group countries with similar pricing, ensuring that each zone contains either only countries using inclusive pricing or those that do not. Avoid overlapping zones.
2

Add products to Catalog

Add your product information to Catalog to enable us to calculate your inclusive prices. Catalog will store your inclusive product prices once they are calculated. Catalog items require a SKU or product ID, a price, and a valid currency code. The currency code must exist and match your organization’s native currency.

Products can be uploaded via API or in bulk via Dashboard.

For Shopify merchants using inclusive pricing, the Shopify -> Zonos catalog sync is required to display inclusive prices for your shoppers and ensure accurate calculations. Follow these steps to sync your catalogs.

3

Configure inclusive pricing

After configuring your shipping settings and adding or syncing your products to the Zonos Catalog, you’re ready to set up inclusive pricing. By default, Zonos will calculate inclusive prices for countries where you've previously shipped at least one order. If you're a new merchant or don't have any orders yet, we'll use our recommended country list, which includes high-volume markets where customers typically expect duties and taxes to be included in the price. You can easily adjust the country list and make other modifications after setup.

Inclusive pricing setup:

  1. Go to DashboardSettingsInclusive Pricing.
  2. Inclusive pricing will validate your shipping configuration and catalog (steps 1 & 2). Once validated, click Begin setup.
  3. Select the components to include in your inclusive prices. You can choose any combination of duties, taxes, and fees.
  4. Confirm whether or not you'd like to use our recommended price rounding. Important: If you’re a Shopify merchant, choose either Zonos rounding or Shopify rounding. Using both can lead to discrepancies.
  5. Review the countries that will use inclusive pricing, and click Finish setup.
  6. Wait while your inclusive prices are calculated. Depending on your catalog and country selection, this process could take minutes or hours. Prices will not be enabled on your website until you review and approve them.
4

Enable inclusive prices

Once your inclusive product prices are calculated and reviewed, you can enable inclusive pricing to make those prices live on your site.

If your product prices are displayed in the shopper's currency, ensure that foreign currencies are enabled in your shopping cart platform or checkout.

To enable your inclusive prices, follow these steps:

  1. On the Inclusive Pricing page, select the countries you wish to enable.
  2. Click Enable or Enable all to activate inclusive pricing for your selected countries. Then, confirm by clicking Yes in the confirmation dialog.
  3. Once enabled, inclusive prices will be displayed on your website for shoppers in your enabled countries.
