As of August 29, 2025, a new U.S. executive order requires duties to be paid on all shipments into the United States. Every postal shipment under $800 USD must now have duties prepaid before crossing the border.
To support Ukrainian individuals and businesses, Ukrposhta has partnered with Zonos, a qualified party recognized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), to ensure parcels keep moving to the U.S. without disruption.
Here’s how it works:
- Ukrposhta collects duties from the shipper when applicable.
- Zonos remits those duties directly to CBP on behalf of Ukrposhta, as the qualified party (and holds the required bond).
- Zonos invoices Ukrposhta for the duties.
This partnership keeps the postal lane open, fully compliant with U.S. law, and easy for shippers.
No Zonos subscription or account is required.
