Five checks. All automated. One clear verdict.
Greenlight Zonos AI runs five independent AI-powered checks on the shipment data you submit—HS code coherency, country of origin accuracy, customs undervaluation, product restrictions, and denied party screening—returning a single export readiness verdict in seconds.
More than a pass/fail: risk scores and what we would have expected
Every shipment comes back with a risk score — not just a flag. Greenlight Zonos AI tells you how likely each issue is and what it would have expected instead, so you have the context to act: hold it, escalate it, or accept the risk with full visibility.
Overall shipment risk score
A single aggregated risk score across all five checks gives you an instant read on overall shipment risk — useful for routing high-risk shipments to manual review.
Risk scores per check
Each check returns its own risk score — how likely the HS code is wrong, how likely the declared country of origin is accurate, how likely the value is underreported, and whether the party is flagged.
What we would have expected
For HS codes, Greenlight returns a ranked list of the codes it would have expected, with a confidence score for each. For country of origin, it returns alternate COO probabilities so you can see what origin is most likely. For customs value, it shows the expected price range so you know exactly how far off the declared value is.
Under the hood
Greenlight runs each shipment through five purpose-built AI models in a single API call—returning individual risk scores and an overall export readiness result.
Why choose Greenlight
Greenlight Zonos AI moves compliance validation from the border back to acceptance — where problems are cheap to fix rather than expensive to undo. One API call, before you accept the shipment, covers the full compliance picture.
Stop compliance issues at the source
Catch non-compliant shipments before they enter your export stream — not after they're rejected at destination customs.
Protect your operations from liability
Denied party and restricted item screening reduces the risk of sanctions violations and carrier-level penalties.
Reduce returned and seized shipments
Items flagged as misclassified or undervalued are caught before departure, cutting the cost of failed deliveries and returns.
Process shipments faster
A single API call returns a full export readiness verdict in seconds — no manual research, no specialist knowledge required per shipment.
Deliver faster by preventing transit delays
Catching compliance issues at acceptance — before a shipment is sorted, loaded, or in transit — keeps shipments moving and prevents delays caused by problems discovered mid-journey.
Built on proven AI infrastructure
Greenlight runs the same Classify, Customs Value, and Country of Origin engines trusted by carriers and posts worldwide.

Screen parcels before they enter the outbound stream
A postal operator receives hundreds of thousands of parcels daily from public and business shippers. Without automated compliance screening, a non-compliant parcel might not surface until it's already in the destination country — triggering seizure, return, or a penalty. Greenlight Zonos AI runs at acceptance: the moment a parcel is presented, before it's sorted or labeled for export.
Key benefits:
What does Greenlight actually check?
Greenlight Zonos AI runs five independent validations on each item: HS code accuracy (does the declared code match the product), country of origin (is the declared origin plausible), customs value (is the declared value within the expected market range), product restrictions (are there import or export restrictions for the destination), and denied party screening (is the recipient or shipper on a sanctions or restricted entity list).
How is Greenlight different from Zonos Vision or Inspect?
Greenlight Zonos AI validates shipper-provided data for export compliance — it's for carriers and postal operators screening outbound shipments at acceptance. Vision Zonos AI generates customs data (HS code, value, description, origin) from a product photo — it's for C2C platforms and ecommerce. Inspect validates inbound manifest data for customs agencies deciding which parcels to physically inspect. Three different workflows, three different audiences.
What data do I need to send to Greenlight?
At minimum: item name, declared HS code, declared customs value, country of origin, destination country, and recipient information. Adding more product detail (description, category, brand) improves the accuracy of the HS code and value checks. For shipments where shipper data is sparse or untrustworthy, Greenlight Zonos AI can be paired with Zonos Vision Zonos AI to generate the required data from a product photo.
Can Greenlight process an entire manifest at once?
Yes. Greenlight Zonos AI accepts full manifests or individual item lookups. Each item in a manifest receives its own complete assessment, so you get a per-item breakdown of export readiness alongside the overall shipment picture.
What happens when Greenlight flags an item?
A flagged item returns an export status of "Not ready," the risk level, the misrepresentation score, and which specific check(s) triggered the flag. You decide the action: hold the shipment, request additional documentation, escalate to manual review, or accept the risk with full visibility into why it was flagged.
How current is the denied party and restrictions data?
Greenlight Zonos AI draws on Zonos's continuously updated compliance data — sanctions lists, denied party registries, and destination-specific product restriction databases. Updates are managed by Zonos so you don't have to maintain your own databases or worry about using outdated lists.
How fast does Greenlight return results?
Greenlight Zonos AI returns a full export readiness verdict — covering all five checks — in seconds. It's designed for real-time use at acceptance counters, intake systems, and automated sortation workflows where speed matters.
How do I get access to Greenlight?
Greenlight Zonos AI requires a Zonos API account with Greenlight Zonos AI enabled. Contact your Zonos account representative or reach out to our sales team to discuss access, pricing, and integration support.
Ready to stop compliance issues before they start?
Greenlight Zonos AI catches non-compliant shipments at acceptance — before they enter your export stream, before they hit the border, before they cost you. One API call covers the full picture.
