Beautiful new design
We have completely redesigned the Hello experience to be more intuitive and user-friendly. The new design is mobile-first and fully responsive, so it looks and works great on any device. The new Checkout no longer redirects to another URL for shoppers to complete their purchases, keeping everything all on your site and under your control. With our new customization options, you can get Hello looking and feeling exactly how you want it, so your brand is front and center.
Hello is no longer restricted to a button in one of your website's four corners. With the new Hello, you can position the flag anywhere on your site. Hello will no longer automatically pop up and take over valuable real estate. Instead, Hello only opens when shoppers directly interact with it.
More powerful customizable messages
Some of the most requested features for Hello revolve around better customization for the messaging and what text is displayed. We've taken that feedback to heart and completely redesigned the way Hello displays messages.
The new Hello displays relevant information like import/export regulations in a glanceable, easy-to-read format. Shoppers will no longer need to parse out the relevant information from a large paragraph of text; instead, everything they need will be laid out in a clear and concise format.
We have new functionality for localized messaging, allowing you to specify messages to show to your shoppers depending on where they are in the buying process, as well as what country they are visiting from. This allows you to show different messages to shoppers from different countries or even different messages to shoppers from the same country, depending on what they are doing on your site. As an added benefit, these messages are automatically translated into your shoppers' native languages, no matter where they are from.
See restricted items before checkout
One major frustration shoppers sometimes encounter is the surprise of adding an item to their cart and getting through most of the checkout process only to find that one or more items in their cart are restricted. With the new Hello, we are bringing our powerful Restrict functionality into the shopping experience for the first time, allowing you to automatically check for restricted items as your shoppers add them to their cart. This will enable you to show a message to your shoppers, letting them know which items are restricted and why, preventing unpleasant surprises.
