Zonos' Rating API로 shipping cost를 calculate하면 rating response에 appropriate amount 및 service_level이 반환되어 landed cost request에 사용할 수 있습니다.
Checkout 및 Quoter는 shipment rating feature로 shipping을 calculate하며 clearance fee가 포함된 shipping rate를 automatically 반환합니다.

additional_tariff_lines
Commercial invoice가 predetermined line item 수를 초과하면 Zonos가 additional line item fee를 calculate합니다. 예: UPS는 Japan 5 tariff line 초과 시 additional tariff line당 400 JPY, FedEx는 Norway 5 entry 초과 시 additional line item당 55 NOK를 부과합니다.
advancement
Advancement fees are charged by carriers for paying duty and tax to customs on your behalf upon import. Landed Cost calculates the different advancement fees by the carrier, country, and currency. These fees are charged by the carrier in the destination country. In most cases, the carrier’s duty and tax APIs do not calculate these fees.
Duty 및 tax cost를 absorb하든 customer에게 bill하든 duty 및 tax는 collect됩니다. Surprise bill 및 unhappy customer를 피하려면 checkout에서 collect하는 것을 권장합니다. Advancement fee discount를 negotiate할 수 있다면 discount가 일반적으로 carrier negotiation에만 적용되므로 shipment를 Delivered Duties Paid (DDP)로 보내는 것이 beneficial합니다. Negotiated advancement fee가 있고 shipment가 Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU)/Delivered at Place (DAP)로 sent되면 consignee는 likely advancement fee book rate를 받습니다.
brokerage_fee
대부분 international air shipment에는 brokerage fee가 부과되지 않지만 Canada ground shipment(UPS Standard, FedEx Ground 등)에는 clearance brokerage fee가 부과됩니다. Canada brokerage fee 및 other fee는 UPS, FedEx, and DHL Brokerage Fees to Canada blog post를 참조하세요. Carrier가 broker가 아닌 country도 있으며 broker가 clearance fee를 carrier에 부과할 수 있습니다. Advancement, DDP, cash on delivery (COD) fee에 추가로 부과됩니다.
cod
거의 모든 DDU shipment(recipient에서 duty 및 tax collect)에 COD fee가 부과됩니다. UPS, FedEx, DHL 및 postal courier delivery entity가 commonly 부과합니다.
예: Canada Post, Royal Mail 같은 USPS delivery partner는 duty 및 tax가 발생하는 모든 First Class 및 Priority United States (U.S.) mail에 COD fee를 부과합니다.
Landed Cost DDP landed cost calculation에서는 COD fee가 calculate되지 않을 수 있지만, landed cost가 shopper에게 charge될 수 있는 amount estimate이면 COD fee가 포함됩니다.
country
Import country는 certain shipment에 fee를 assess할 수 있습니다. 다양한 reason으로 assess되지만 보통 clearance, approval, inspection, storage, quarantine, processing 등 various government department service를 나타냅니다.
currency_conversion
많은 carrier가 foreign currency invoicing fee를 assess합니다. Duty 및 tax가 destination country currency로 assess되지만 invoice가 다른 currency shipper 또는 third party에 sent되는 DDP shipment duty 및 tax invoice에서 most commonly seen됩니다. Currency conversion fee는 일반적으로 carrier exchange rate에 reflected되며 separate line item으로 listed되지 않습니다.
ddp_service_fee
DDP shipment(duty 및 tax를 shipper에 bill)은 export carrier가 shipper service 제공 fee를 부과할 수 있습니다. Destination carrier가 아닌 export carrier가 technically 부과하므로 advancement fee 같은 typical import charge와 동일하지 않습니다.
예: UPS U.S.는 shipper 또는 third party bill service에 15 USD를 부과합니다.
other
Carrier 또는 customs가 international shipment에 적용할 수 있는 other fee가 있습니다.
예: U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 같은 government bureau가 shipping fee를 적용할 수 있습니다.

Landed Cost guarantee

많은 merchant가 business process를 simplify하고 peace of mind를 위해 Landed Cost guarantee를 활용합니다. 이 service로 Zonos는 landed cost calculation을 guarantee하고 duty 및 tax registration, collection, payment, reconciliation을 모두 처리합니다. Service administrative fee는 landed cost calculation에 built-in됩니다.
Customize carrier import fees
일부 clearance fee는 negotiable하며 특히 UPS, FedEx, DHL과 그렇습니다. UPS 또는 FedEx와 DDP fee를 negotiate했다면 Dashboard에서 fee를 modify할 수 있습니다. Settings -> Shipping rates로 이동하여 calculation에 correctly reflected되도록 하세요. DDP, advancement, brokerage fee customization도 available합니다.
How accurate is Zonos at calculating customs clearance fees?
Decoder team은 carrier, delivery provider, broker 및 invoice에서 clearance fee를 directly source합니다. Zonos는 market에서 가장 accurate landed cost calculation을 제공하기 위해 노력합니다. 그러나 international rate 및 policy의 constant change로 Landed Cost guarantee 사용을 complete peace of mind를 위해 권장합니다.
What if my currency does not match the currency of the fees?
Landed Cost API 및 other Zonos product는 request sent 시점 exchange rate를 account합니다. Calculation은 market에서 가장 accurate하지만 currency value constant fluctuation으로 small margin for error가 있을 수 있습니다. Landed Cost guarantee 사용을 권장합니다.
How up-to-date are your exchange rates?
Updated exchange rate를 2시간마다 fetch합니다. 그러나 customs clearance 시점 currency conversion rate는 ecommerce order 시점 rate와 match하지 않습니다. Landed Cost guarantee로 carrier calculation 및 billing difference를 avoid할 수 있습니다.
How do you calculate customs clearance and import fees?
Import fee는 complicated할 수 있습니다. Broker, government agency, customs, carrier가 적용할 수 있으며 good type 또는 shipping service level 등 다양한 factor에 따라 vary합니다. Import fee calculation 시 Zonos가 heavy lifting을 수행할 수 있습니다. Landed Cost, Checkout, Quoter 모두 total landed cost calculation의 import fee를 calculate할 수 있습니다.
