Verified Account란?
Verified Account는 shipment를 계속 진행하게 합니다. Verified Account를 사용하면 Zonos가 관세를 징수하고 U.S. Customs and Border Protection(CBP)에 직접 remittance하여 2,500 USD 미만 postal shipment의 선납 관세 요건을 충족합니다.
이를 통해 Australia Post는 관세가 올바르게 계산·징수·납부될 것을 확인하고 label 발행을 계속할 수 있습니다. 작동 방식:
- post referral link로 Verified Account에 가입합니다(post account에 자동 연결).
- 선택적으로 Dashboard Lite의 무료 도구로 product 가격에 관세를 반영합니다.
- 모든 미국 bound parcel에 선납 관세 validation과 함께 자신 있게 배송을 시작합니다.
- post가 shipment를 처리하면 Zonos가 관세 및 processing/clearance fee를 청구합니다.
Australia Post용 Verified Accounts
Zonos Verified Account로 모든 미국 bound shipment가 관세 선납 상태로 clearance되도록 하세요
2025년 8월 29일부터 미국 executive order는 미국으로 들어오는 모든 shipment에 관세 납부를 요구합니다. 2026년 7월 24일부로 postal shipment의 관세 선납 threshold는 800 USD에서 2,500 USD로 상향되었습니다 — parcel이 border를 넘기 전에 관세를 선납해야 합니다.
소규모 business와 merchant를 지원하기 위해 Zonos는 Australia Post와 파트너십을 맺어 merchant용 Verified Accounts를 제공합니다.
Verified Account는 2,500 USD 미만 parcel을 미국으로 배송하려는 경우 그리고 Australia Post business account가 있거나 Quoter 도구로 Australia Post 관세 비용을 확인하려는 경우에만 필요합니다. casual shipper는 retail counter를 사용할 수 있습니다.
