If your invoice balance is under 5.00 USD on the day it would normally be charged, we do not charge it separately. We carry it forward instead, and your invoice stays open and keeps collecting new activity as your post sends us more shipment data.
We check the balance each time an invoice would be charged. If it is still under 5.00 USD, we carry it forward again. It is charged the first time the balance reaches 5.00 USD or more, and it is never charged more than once.
We do not carry a balance indefinitely. It stops carrying on the first day of the second month after it started, and is charged on the next invoice after that even if it is still under 5.00 USD. For example, a balance that first carries in September is charged on the first invoice on or after November 1.
The 5.00 USD threshold is measured in US dollars. If your invoices are issued in another currency, we compare the equivalent US dollar amount, so the exact figure in your own currency will vary slightly with exchange rates.
You do not need to do anything. The carried balance appears on your invoice as usual, and your saved payment method is charged only when the invoice is actually billed.
