Aanbevolen richtlijnen
Bij het classificeren van bundels raden we aan deze richtlijnen te volgen:
- Ken de specifieke HS-codes voor bundels, kits en sets; sommige bundels hebben eigen HS-codes, zoals testkits en reistoiletsets. Zie de tabel „HS-codes voor bundels, kits en sets” hieronder.
- Bepaal of items in uw bundel gemeenschappelijke kenmerken delen en classificeer dienovereenkomstig. Een
lego setvalt bijvoorbeeld ondertoysin 9503.00 omdat alle items het karakter van speelgoed hebben. - Deelt uw bundel geen gemeenschappelijke kenmerken en staat ze niet in de tabel, identificeer dan het hoofdartikel waarvoor de bundel bedoeld is. In een bundel met
hammer and nailsis dehammerhet hoofdcomponent; die classificatie geldt voor de hele set. - Hebben items geen gemeenschappelijke kenmerken of hoofdartikel, classificeer elk item apart of raadpleeg een erkende broker voor correcte HS-codes.

Bundels, kits en sets classificeren
Vind HS-codes voor veelvoorkomende kits, sets en bundels.Het classificeren van bundels, kits en sets kan lastig zijn vanwege het brede scala aan artikelen in een bundel. Deze producttypen staan in het HS (Harmonized System) als „composite goods”: samengesteld uit twee of meer items die niet kunnen worden gescheiden zonder hun aard of waarde te beschadigen.
