5. Get your products into Zonos
Your Catalog is where the extra U.S. information for each product lives, so you provide it once and it travels with every shipment. There are two ways to build it:
Connect your store with Zonos Sync. Your products and orders sync automatically, keeping your Catalog current as your store changes. Etsy, eBay, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce (Magento), Wix, and Amazon are ready, with more on the way. See channel integrations for how each one connects.
Upload a CSV. This works for any platform, and is the route to take if a connection to your store isn't available yet.
To connect a store, go to Dashboard → Catalog, click Add channel, and select your platform. If your platform isn't listed yet, choose Upload a CSV instead.
Starting with a CSV is not wasted work—products you upload keep their details if you connect a store later.
Either way, Zonos then knows what you sell and can flag the items that need more information before they can be shipped to the U.S.
We recommend including each product's country of origin when you add products to your Catalog, since some checks depend on it.
When the product ID has to match. SingPost matches each item to your Catalog by the product ID you enter in ezy2ship—your productId, SKU, or Zonos Catalog Item ID—not by product name. Whichever you use has to match the product in your Catalog exactly. If they differ, Zonos cannot make the connection, and the shipment is treated as though the data was never provided.
6. Add the required product data
Once your products are in Zonos, Zonos checks each one against U.S. entry requirements and flags the ones that need more information. Answer the product-specific questions and upload any supporting documents, such as certificates of origin, so the details are ready when you ship.
Copy your Account Key from your Zonos Dashboard home page.
In ezy2ship, go to Account Settings > My Preferences, paste your Account Key into the Verified Account field, and click SAVE. You only need to do this once.
8. Every time you ship to the U.S., include your product ID in ezy2ship
For each U.S.-bound parcel valued under $2,500 USD, enter one product ID per product in the Merchant Product ID field in ezy2ship.
The product ID can be your productId, your SKU, or your Zonos Catalog Item ID. Whichever you use must match the product in your Zonos Catalog.
Your productId and SKU are the values you entered for each product. Zonos creates the Catalog Item ID, and you'll find it as a column when you export your Catalog.
ezy2ship sends the item details to Zonos, Zonos issues a Declaration ID, and ezy2ship links it to the parcel's tracking number.
If you use your Zonos Catalog Item IDs, you can look up one product at a time, or export the IDs for every product at once.
Note: Zonos Catalog Item IDs are unique to the items uploaded in Catalog. If you delete an item in Catalog and re-upload it later, it will have a new Zonos Catalog Item ID. Be sure to export newly added products to get their Zonos Catalog Item IDs.
Go to Dashboard → Catalog.
Click the item.
On the Product details tab at the top, the first field is the Catalog Item ID. Click the copy icon next to it to copy it.
