Create labels with supported platforms and carriers
Use your Zonos Verified Account directly inside the platforms and carrier tools you already ship with.
Zonos is building integrations with major e-commerce platforms and shipping carriers so you can create Japan Post duty-prepaid labels under your Verified Account without leaving the tools you already use. Each integration produces the same compliant Japan Post label, with a Declaration ID linked to the tracking number.
This page is updated as each integration goes live.
Ship&co is a multi-carrier shipping platform that syncs orders from sales channels like Shopify, Amazon, and eBay, then generates shipping labels from one screen. With the Zonos integration, you can create Japan Post duty-prepaid (DDP) labels directly in Ship&co for U.S.-bound parcels under $2,500 USD and, since October 1, 2026, for parcels to 15 EU countries and territories. Zonos calculates the duties, prints the Declaration ID on the label, and remits duties to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or the EU destination on your behalf.
A Zonos Japan Post Verified Account with an Account Key. If you have not set one up yet, follow Account setup first. Your Account Key is issued once your business address and billing are on file.
Shipping to the EU with Ship&co
Ship&co supports Japan Post DDP shipments to these EU countries and territories:
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Martinique, Monaco, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, and Sweden.
Conditions such as the maximum goods value, gift rules, and excluded postal codes vary by destination. See EU country readiness for each destination's rules.
IOSS and VAT
If an IOSS number is available in Ship&co (your Ship&co Settings page, your Etsy store settings in Ship&co, or the eBay and Amazon order data), Ship&co uses it. Zonos bills you for duties and fees only. You or your marketplace remit the VAT.
If no IOSS number is available, Zonos' IOSS number is used, and Zonos bills you for duties, VAT, and fees.
Your IOSS number applies only to shipments with goods valued at €150 or less.
Zonos checks only the format of the IOSS number (IM followed by 10 digits). If the format is invalid, Zonos uses its own IOSS number and bills you for the VAT, so double-check your IOSS number before you ship.
IOSS shipments must be sent as e-commerce goods. Leave the recipient's Company Name field blank.
Starting November 1, 2026, every EU customs declaration for an online sale must list product identifiers for each item. See EU product identifiers for the full rule.
Ship&co doesn't manage a product catalog. Instead, it passes the product data it holds on each order item directly in the Zonos label request, on every item. Ship&co holds these identifiers on each order item:
Ship&co field↕
What it is↕
EU PID↕
item_id
The ID your selling platform gives the product, such as a listing, item, or variant ID (for Shopify, the variant ID)
M-PID
sku
Your SKU
M-PID
mpn
The manufacturer part number
NS-PID
barcode
The product's JAN, EAN, UPC, GTIN, or ISBN
S-PID
Ship&co imports orders from Shopify, eBay, Amazon, and many other platforms, as well as through its API and CSV import. For most platforms, the order data includes only the platform item ID and the SKU. Ship&co fills in the other identifiers when the platform provides them.
To add or edit identifiers that your platform doesn't provide, use the Ship&co app or a Ship&co CSV import. Editing them through the Ship&co API is planned for later in 2026.
If an identifier is missing from the order, Zonos matches the item's SKU to your Zonos Catalog and adds any PIDs you've saved there, so keep the SKUs in Ship&co and your Catalog the same.
1. Copy your Zonos Account Key
Your Account Key authorizes Ship&co to create labels under your Verified Account.
Sign in to the Zonos Dashboard for your Japan Post Verified Account.
Go to Settings → Integrations and copy your Account Key.
Keep it handy for the next step.
If you can't find your Account Key, confirm your business address and billing are complete. See Account setup.
2. Add Zonos as a carrier in Ship&co
Sign in to your Ship&co account.
Open your carrier settings page.
Select Zonos from the list of available carriers.
Paste the Account Key you copied from the Zonos Dashboard.
Open a Japan-to-U.S. or Japan-to-EU order in Ship&co.
Select Zonos as the carrier.
Generate the label.
Ship&co creates a Japan Post duty-prepaid label with the Declaration ID printed on it. Hand your parcels to Japan Post as usual. After your parcels are inducted into the postal stream, Zonos charges your card on file for the duties and fees (and VAT, when Zonos' IOSS number is used), then remits them to CBP or the EU destination.
The signature image you upload in the Zonos Dashboard is not applied to labels created through Ship&co. Ship&co generates its own label documents.
