Verified Accounts for CTT Correios de Portugal

Shipping to the U.S. increasingly depends on what you can say about the product itself, not just the parcel. Zonos partnered with CTT Correios de Portugal to provide Verified Accounts so their shippers have somewhere to keep that information.

What is a Verified Account? 

For CTT Correios de Portugal shippers, a Verified Account is a free Zonos account that stores your product data. It is not used for duty billing—Verified Accounts with some other postal operators are, but that is not how CTT Correios de Portugal uses them. You sync or upload your catalog once, Zonos flags the items that need more detail before they can ship to the U.S., and you fill in the gaps — answering product-specific questions and uploading documents such as certificates of origin.

Here's how it works:

1. Sign up for a Verified Account using the CTT Correios de Portugal referral link, so your account is connected to the post automatically.
2. Get your products into Zonos by connecting a store for automatic syncing or uploading a CSV.
3. Review the items that need more information to ship to the U.S.
4. Add the missing details and documents so they travel with your shipments.
5. Add your Zonos Account Key to your CTT Correios de Portugal shipments, so your parcels are matched to the data you added.
