Wie Sie EEI melden
Sie können EEI online über CBP's ACE system melden. Sie müssen ein Konto erstellen, wenn Sie keines haben. Registrierungsanweisungen finden Sie auf der Website des Census Bureau. Das Census Bureau bietet auch Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitungen zur Meldung.

Die großen Carrier bieten einen „Agent file“ an, der es dem Exporteur ermöglicht, EEI beim Carrier als Agent für Meldezwecke einzureichen. Siehe die Ressourcen unten:

Wann EEI gemeldet wird
Die meisten US-Unternehmen müssen vor Abfahrt der Sendung melden. „Pre-departure“ bedeutet, dass Absender/Versender die EEI-Meldungsnummer haben müssen, bevor der Kurier die Sendung abholt. Die EEI-ITN ist auf dem Versandlabel enthalten. Fristen für EEI-Übermittlungen:
- Nicht-ITAR-Sendungen: Spätestens zwei Stunden vor Abfahrt
- ITAR-Sendungen: Spätestens acht Stunden vor Abfahrt
Wann EEI nicht erforderlich ist
Häufige Umstände, in denen EEI nicht erforderlich ist:

Sendungen unter 2.500 USD basierend auf ihrem HS-Code

Beispiel A: Eine Sendung enthält zwei Artikel unter zwei verschiedenen HS-Codes:
- Artikel A mit HS-Code 1 im Wert von 500 USD
- Artikel B mit HS-Code 2 im Wert von 3.000 USD

In diesem Beispiel gilt die 30.37(a)-Ausnahme nur für Artikel A. Für Artikel B ist eine EEI-Meldung erforderlich, da er über 2.500 USD nach HS-Code liegt.
- Beispiel B: Eine Sendung enthält drei Artikel à 700 USD unter demselben HS-Code, Gesamtwert 2.100 USD, und die Artikel unterliegen keinen behördlichen Lizenzen und erfordern keine EEI-Meldung nach US-Exportgesetzen oder -vorschriften.
In diesem Beispiel gilt die 30.37(a)-Ausnahme, und keine EEI-Meldung ist erforderlich.

Diese Codes gelten nicht für Sendungen, die:
- Eine Exportlizenz/Genehmigung erfordern
- Zur Lagerung nach Kanada, aber letztlich für ein Drittland bestimmt sind
- Rohdiamanten enthalten
- Waren enthalten, die von USML oder ITAR kontrolliert werden

Wie akzeptiert oder verarbeitet Zonos EEI-Meldungen?
EEI-Meldungen liegen in der Verantwortung des Absenders. Zonos verarbeitet keine EEI-Meldungen. Der Absender muss EEI über Agent Filing beim Carrier einreichen. Wenn Sie Labels aus Dashboard drucken, können Sie die ITN-Nummer an den Carrier übergeben. Zonos verhindert die Label-Generierung nicht — es liegt in Ihrer Verantwortung sicherzustellen, dass EEI-Meldungen für zutreffende Sendungen bearbeitet werden.

Electronic Export Information (EEI) ist der elektronische Bericht und die Dokumentation von Waren, die aus den Vereinigten Staaten (U.S.) in ein ausländisches Land exportiert werden. EEI-Meldungen sind erforderlich, wenn ein oder mehrere Artikel in einer Sendung einen Wert von über 2.500 USD haben. Ein „Artikel“ wird pro Harmonized Code (HS code) bestimmt — mehrere Artikel mit demselben HS-Code gelten für EEI-Zwecke als ein Artikel. EEI-Meldungen werden online bei U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) eingereicht. CBP nutzt EEI-Daten, um Zollvorschriften bei höherwertigen Sendungen durchzusetzen.
Automated Export System (AES) - Das AES ist ein Computersystem, das Electronic Export Information (EEI) erfasst. In vielen Fällen verlangt das Gesetz, dass Sie EEI für aus den Vereinigten Staaten und deren Territorien exportierte Waren melden.
