Request a demoWelcome to our webinar on the new UK VAT scheme and how Zonos can help your business stay compliant. As you may know, on January 1, 2021, the UK implemented a new VAT scheme that applies to any business that sells products into the UK. With no sales threshold, every merchant that sells even a single item* into the UK will be required to register for a VAT number with HMRC, collect and remit VAT on all low-value orders (*£135 or less) and face penalties and fines if they are not prepared by January 1st.
The good news is that Zonos has you covered! Zonos customers will be able to immediately start collecting UK VAT and it also provides international tax management options if you need assistance.
Watch this webinar to learn more about the new UK VAT scheme and how Zonos can help your business stay compliant.
Welcome to our webinar on the new UK VAT scheme and how Zonos can help your business stay compliant. I am thrilled to introduce our speakers for today's session, Clint Reid, CEO of Zonos, and Aaron Bezzant, Director of Product and Global Trade. Clint started Zonos with the goal of using technology to solve cross-border problems, today the company helps thousands of companies to sell cross-border. Aaron has over 12 years of experience in expanding the online global footprint of a large U.S. e-tailer and at Zonos he helps online retailers to increase their international sales. Together, they have the expertise to help you navigate the new UK VAT scheme and stay compliant.
CEO of Zonos
Clint Reid is the founder and CEO of Zonos, a St. George-based technology company on a mission to create trust in global trade. During Clint’s previous experience working in international logistics at DHL and UPS, he repeatedly witnessed the pain and frustration on the faces of global business owners losing money due to refused packages and hidden international costs. Clint decided to take a chance and started Zonos with the mindset that many cross-border problems could be solved with technology. Today, Zonos helps thousands of companies to sell cross-border.
Product and Global Trade
Prior to joining Zonos, Aaron spent over 12 years expanding the online global footprint at a large U.S. e-tailer.
