Create a batch
- Go to Dashboard -> Shipping -> Batches and click Create batch.
- Select orders — use the filter chips to narrow results by SKU, product ID, order status, or quantity range, then check the orders you want to include. Use the header checkbox to select all matching orders.
- Click Next to configure optional overrides for the batch:
- Fulfillment center — choose a different origin if you have multiple fulfillment centers.
- Service level — override the default carrier and service level.
- Carton dimensions — set length, width, height, and weight to apply to all shipments. Either fill all four fields or leave them all empty.
- Click Create batch to start processing.
Monitor progress
After creating a batch, you are taken to the batch detail page automatically. While the batch is processing:
- A spinner and live counter show how many shipments have been created so far.
- The page refreshes every second until processing is complete.
- The summary line shows shipments created, failures, and elapsed time.
Batch statuses
| Status↕ | Meaning↕ |
|---|---|
| Pending | Queued, not yet started |
| Processing | Actively creating shipments |
| Completed | All shipments created successfully |
| Partially completed | Some shipments succeeded, some failed |
| Failed | All shipments failed |
| Cancelled | Manually cancelled before completion |
Print labels
Once processing finishes, all labels are merged into a single downloadable file. Click Print labels to open and print them.
The Print labels button is disabled while labels are being prepared. If label merging fails, a tooltip will indicate the failure.
Handle errors
When a shipment fails, the error message appears in the Error column of the results table. Hover over a truncated message to see the full text, or click the copy icon to copy it.
To fix and retry a failed item:
- Click the order link in the Order column to open the order detail page.
- Fix the issue (for example, a missing address field or invalid customs data).
- Return to the batch detail page and click the retry icon next to the failed item.
To requeue all failed items at once, click Retry all failed. This option appears on batches with a status of Partially completed or Failed.
Cancel a batch
Click Cancel job on any active batch (status Pending or Processing). Shipments that have already been created are not affected — only the remaining unprocessed items are skipped.
Filter results
Both the batch list page and batch detail page include tab filters.
Batch list page tabs: All, Processing, Completed, Partially completed, Failed, Cancelled
Batch detail page tabs: All, Pending, Processing, Successful, Failed, Cancelled
Click any tab to filter the table to that status.
